1953 Born in Gyumri, Armenia
1977-1983 Studied at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts
1987-1995 The President of Artists’ Union and the Principal of Merkurov Art School, Gyumri, Armenia
1995 Samvel Lajikian moved to United States.
2005 Created a celebrity jewelry line entitled “CelebrityPortrait Jewelry.” His unique jewelries were created for internationally celebrated individuals such as Snoop Dogg, DMX, Xzibit, Shaquille O’Neal and others.
2014 Was awaeded ”Outstanding Watercolor” in Bold Brush Painting Competition
2016 “Enchanted Reality” Beirut, Lebanon
2019 ''Woman and Nature in the Life Cycle'' Istanbul, Turkey
Samvel Lajikian is internationally renowned and an Honored Artist of Armenia. His artworks have been acquired by the Ministry of Culture of Armenia, the State Gallery of Armenia, the Merkurov Museum (Gyumri), Mekhitarist Congregation (Venice) and countless private collectors.
He currently lives in Gyumri, Armenia.
